Shoreline is a monotype print enhanced with gold leaf, ink wash and delicate stitch detail. This piece was a joy to experiment with, I’ve loved the exploration of mood, texture and light. Inspired by the brooding beauty of stormy days around Wellington’s eastern bays. Shoreline captures those fleeting golden moments when sunlights breaks through the clouds. The movement of light across the gold leaf brings this piece to life, evoking the ever changing coastal atmosphere.
