Because it flies at dusk and into the night, commonly regarded as the realm of spirits, the pepe-tuna is known in Māori culture as a spiritual messenger, or a ghost of an ancestor returning to visit his or her descendants.
This series of prints is inspired by the beautiful and ethereal Pepe-tuna.

All prints are hand drawn, cut and printed using water based ink onto acid free paper. The nature of the process makes each print unique and therefore may have slight variations in colour, ink evenness and other minor details.

This is a limited edition lino print with only 100 prints in edition. Each one is numbered, titled and signed by the artist.
